This heat-treatable alloy delivers outstanding mechanical properties with tensile strength of 234 MPa and yield strength of 193 MPa after T6 heat treatment. The material offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and maintains dimensional stability across temperature variations.
LM25 Aluminum Alloy
Similar to A356, this widely-used casting alloy provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio and superior pressure tightness. With tensile strength of 220 MPa in the as-cast condition, it demonstrates good machinability and can be enhanced through heat treatment.
