Once the ceramic is cured, the wax is melted out in a high-temperature dewaxing furnace (the V5 stage). The resulting cavity is then filled with molten AISI 316 stainless steel under controlled vacuum or atmospheric conditions. This process enables the production of complex, near-net-shape components with tight tolerances (typically CT4-CT6 per ISO 8062), thin walls, and surface finishes as fine as 3.2 μm Ra, significantly reducing or eliminating the need for secondary machining.
